The Pivotal process varies depending on the services requested. Typically, our client partnerships begin with a complimentary consultation to determine organizational need, goals, fundraising readiness and alignment of internal and external stakeholders. We use a brief assessment tool to establish the best fit resources to achieve our client’s work.
Once we have established a working partnership, we first review your current grant materials as well as your current portfolio of funding and potential sources of funding you plan to submit requests to. We will then research new funding sources or recommend strategies to increase existing funding.
We will then research new sources of funding, develop a strategy for outreach, and recommend marketing methods to support and enhance funding requests.
In partnership with your team or designated point of contact, we will write the grant application to fit the funder’s specifications.
In collaboration with your team or key point person, we will review and finalize the grant ensuring the information is current and accurate.
We can submit our client’s requests, but we often recommend that a designated staff member submit grants, so they become the final chain in the submission process.
